This is GREAT news. For those who haven't seen it, it's a beautifully done Cop-drama which airs on TNT in the US and recently aired on More4 here in the UK. Here's a trailer if you don't know what I'm talking about:

Anyway, the following news comes from TheWrap:

TNT's cop drama "Southland" has been renewed for a fifth season, the network said Friday. The 10-episode season will premiere in Feb. 2013.

Whats great about this show is that it's emotionally driven by the amazingly written dialogue and characters, characters who you'll get attached with and you'll see evolve each season. It's a show I'd recommend HIGHLY to anyone who has a heartbeat.
