The film is already creating a buzz after its troubled start with the departure of intended director Guillermo del Toro, which forced Jackson back into the drivers seat.

The film is slated for a Christmas release, December 14th 2012, so your Coca Cola advert this year will be accompanied by The Hobbit's trailers, its going to be an awesome season!
