Check this out, via Twitter, the new trailer for J.J. Abrams new film, Super 8.

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident.


Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

J.J. Abrams has a tendency to keep thing under wraps, and this film wasn't an exception. Back in May, the teaser trailer was released, but not much else was known about the film. Only speculation that the film may be related to the 2008 Cloverfield. These speculations were deemed incorrect.

Anyway, the trailer looks extremely promising, it's usually difficult to judge a film based on the trailer as I've discussed before, but DAAAYYYYYYYM, this looks like it could impress.
